COURSE TITLE
Put the Environment in your Nursing Curriculum!
June 10-11, 2009

Sponsored by the UCSF Occupational and Environmental Health & Advanced
Community Health and International Nursing Programs, with the Northern
California Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH).
DESCRIPTION
Goal: To have Nursing faculty from schools in California commit to integrate at least one curricular activity related to environmental

Health questions about the environment come to
registered nurses working in pediatric, maternity, primary care, and

respond to these important questions.
Methods: This two-day interactive workshop will use small group work to pilot various environmental health curricular materials. Each participant will be provided with environmental health resource files for future use.
Please bring:
- 1) Laptop with USB port and CD drive
- 2) Wear comfortable close-toe shoes for June 10th tour, and walking shoes for lunch walks.
⇒Complimentary Wine and Cheese Reception Following Day 1
